ACCIDENT VICTIM DEAD

John Proost, of Charlotte, died Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital, Clinton, where he had been for the past three weeks, following injuries received in an auto accident. Pneumonia developed and caused his death. The body was taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Diedrich in Charlotte. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning with Requiem Mass at 9 o'clock at the Catholic church at Sugar Creek. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
