Nada Lee Henry 82, of Camanche, IA, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2014, at Big Meadows Nursing Home in savanna, IL.
There will be a private family funeral service at Snell Zornig funeral home in Camanche, IA. Pallbearers will be family members Grant Henry, Gene Dickinson, Scott Dickinson, Thaddeus Dickinson, Andrew Graves and Tate Tiesman. Interment will be at Rose hill Cemetery in Camanche, IA.
Nada was born on September 14, 1931 in Clarksville, IN to Dennis Mc Donald Sr. and Margaret Wiley. She attended Clarksville schools.
On September 1, 1948, Nada married Clarence Henry SR. in Franklin, Ohio. They were married 64 years until his death in February of 2013.
Nada was a homemaker and caregiver for her family. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation in Camanche, IA and former member of the Moose Ladies Auxiliary. Nada enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. In their retirement, they traveled frequently in their camper visiting many camp sites in the Mid West.
Her hobbies included ceramics, looming and weaving, quilting, gardening, bingo and antiquing.
Survivors include her four children, Clarence (Margaret) Henry Jr., Clinton, IA, Walter (Sheryl) Henry, Surprise, AZ., Annette (Gene) Dickinson, Savanna, IL, and Grant Henry, Camanche, IA. ; seven grandchildren Scott Dickinson, Meghan Gutierrez, Thaddeus Dickinson, Brandi Tiesman, Molly Harlow, Bridget Siegel and Katie Graves; eleven great grandchildren Scott Dickinson, Abbi Graves, Aubri Graves, twins Lucas and Beau Dickinson, Trevor Tiesman, Jude Dickinson, Benjamin Harlow, Tucker Tiesman, Anna Graves and Julian Gutierrez IV; one sister Charlotte Widmer of Port St. Lucie, FL. two sister-in – laws Donna Jeffery, Camarillo, CA. and Helen (Bud) Kubitz of Sparks NV, and one brother-in-law Bill Zeh of Henderson, NV, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, 6 sisters-in-law and 5 brothers-in-law.
