June A. Seitz age 86 of Clinton, died Saturday March 29, 2014 at Genesis East Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4 – 8 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Clinton. Casket bearers will be her grandsons. June was born on June 19, 1927 in Clinton, the daughter of Elmer and Jessie (Holliday) Point. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1946. She married Herman J. Seitz on Feb. 12, 1955 in Clinton, he died in 2006. She worked at the Clinton County Court House in the Recorder’s and Assessor’s Office and as a processor at A.C. Nielsen Co. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her sister Arla and her niece Beverly, watching golf, crossword puzzles, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

June is survived by her three children, Mary (Rick) Lingle of Lombard, IL, Matt (Pam) Seitz and Greg (Lynn) Seitz both of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Jacob, Pete, Dane, Nick, Melinda, and Jessica; eight great grandchildren, Xander, Zoey, Devon, Aurora, Abigail, Kolton, Noah, Sierrah and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Glynis in 1998, husband, five sisters and a brother.
