The Clinton Herald; May 20, 1941 Funeral Services for William Lehmann, 78, of 536 Second avenue South, who died Sunday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Zion Lutheran church, preceded by a prayer service at 2 p.m. in the family home. The Rev. George W. Krueger, pastor of Zion church, will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. The body has been removed to the family residence, where it will repose until the funeral hour Wednesday. William Lehmann was born March 29, 1863, in Germany, the son of Fritz and Clara Lehmann. He came to the United States at the age of 16. He and Catherine Duhr were united in marriage June 14, 1890, in Clinton.
Surviving are his three sons, Fred Lehmann of Clinton, Harry Lehmann of Flint, Mich., and Frank Lehmann of Clinton; three sisters, Mrs. Hugh Doyle of Sabula, Mrs. Sadie Niemann of Canada and Mrs. Clifford Ingraham of Clinton; one brother, Otto Lehmann of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, who died in 1931, and by a son and a daughter, who died in infancy.
