The Clinton Herald; Saturday November 24, 1973 p. 9 The funeral for Mrs. Anna McGovern, 83, 1709 S. 5th St., who died Friday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Snell-Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Grote of Zion Luthern Church officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The pallbearers will be Howard Goble, James Elifson, Robert Whitney, Francis Oldaker, Eugene Stevenson and Klare McCutcheon. Born Nov. 10, 1890, in Clinton, she was the daughter of John and Anna Duhr Weinbeck. She married John T. McGovern on April 18, 1914 in Clinton. He died in 1967. Survivors include one son, Jack (Terry), Clinton, three grandchildren; and sis great grandchildren. She was prededed in death by her husband, one sister and four brothers.
