John Shaw, aged 72 years, died at 12 o'clock this noon following the effects of a paralytic stroke which he sustained at 11:10 o'clock this morning at his home, 205 Franklin avenue. The coroner, Dr. Kellogg, was called, but an inquest was unnecessary.
His wife and a son survive.
The body will be taken to Boone, the former home, tomorrow morning from the Rockwell undertaking parlor. Interment will be in that city."
