Marcia L. Reynolds, 102, of Clinton, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Mercy Living Center – South.

Memorial Services will be 11am , Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 9am to the service time at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com

Marcia L. Weiss was born on April 25, 1911 in Grand Mound, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Ella (Betts) Weiss. She married Cyril Reynolds on January 23, 1929 in Grand Mound; he died March 7, 1978.

Marcia was a homemaker, sold Avon products for many years, and did much volunteer work into her nineties. She enjoyed her yard and her flower, playing bridge, and entertaining friends and relatives in her home. Her faith, family, and friends were the most important things in her life, which was lived to “love one another;” John 13:34

Marcia was a member of The Garden Club, The Study Club, Friends of the Rogers Historical Museum, P.E.O. Chapter BK, and First Church of Christ Scientist in Roger, Arkansas and in Clinton, where she was also a member of the Women of the Moose.

Marcia is survived by three daughters: Sandra (Donald) Schoephorster of Shoals, Indiana, Fay Bull of Clinton, and Connie (Jerry) Bennis of Clinton; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law: Margaret Reynolds of Sabula, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law; two brothers, two sisters and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made directly to the family to be distributed between Marcia’s charities.
