Helen Myrl Clemens Dyrdahl, 83, of Clinton, IA passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Big Meadows, Savanna, Illinois. Private graveside services will be held at the Lusk Cemetery in Albany, Illinois, following cremation. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.

Helen was born October 9, 1930 in Browning, MO, the daughter of Earl and Bernice (Bundridge) Gooch. Helen was a 1948 graduate of Jamesport High School, MO. She married Robert M. Clemens in April of 1952; he preceded her in death in 1980. She later married Reuben Dyrdahl in April of 2001; he preceded her in death in September of 2013.

Helen was employed at Burke Florist as a floral designer for more than 42 years.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Maribeth) Clemens of Morrison, IL; daughter-in-law, Betty Clemens of Albany, IL; grandchildren, Scott Clemens of Champaign, IL and Kayla (Andy) Hennig of Roscoe, IL; sister, Celia Huizenga of Albany, IL and brothers, Gary Gooch of Albany, IL and Jerald Gooch of Phoenix, AZ.

She was preceded in death by both husbands and a son, Leslie Robert Clemens.
