McCAUSLAND, Iowa - Hattie H. Pietscher, 97, died Friday at Westwing Place, DeWitt.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at McCausland United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.

Hattie Schlotfeldt married Walter Pietscher in 1922. They had farmed in the McCausland area. He died in 1973.

Mrs. Pietscher was a member of the church, United Methodist Women and McCausland Senior Citizens, a gold star mother of Eldridge American Legion Auxiliary and a former member of Woodman Lodge.

She enjoyed visiting with her friends and watching "Jeopardy!" on television and the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls.

Memorials may be made to McCausland United Methodist Church, McCausland Fire Department or a favorite charity.

Survivors include sons, Rondo, McCausland, and Dary, Clinton; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pietscher also was pre-ceded in death by a son, Reed Pietscher, who was killed in action during World War II.
