Carolyn J. Stobie-Lee, 77, of Clinton, Iowa passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013, at the Alverno. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery.

Carolyn was born June 5, 1936 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Hansen) Burmeister. She was a 1955 Clinton High School graduate. She was employed at A.C. Nielsen Clearing House for several years, retiring in 1987.

Carolyn married James Stobie on May 5, 1969 in Clinton; he died October 14, 1994. She later married Wilbur “Keith” Lee on September 24, 1998; he died March 9, 2004.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil and Lawrence Burmeister and sister, Lois Clark.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
