Harry P. Foley, Sr., 76, of Clinton, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Mercy Living Center – North, Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church – Clinton. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will by Randy Kimmer, Jr., William Foley, Xavier Foley, Kit Wilson, Todd Guilliams, and Tommy Uptagraw. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Foley, Mike Bos, Jr., Jake Dau, Jonathon Foley, DeTrevor Foley and Jamiere Broughton. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com .

Harry Paul Foley was born on January 22, 1937 in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Tom and Zelma (Yenney) Foley. He married Nancy Dixon on February 26, 1955 in Clinton.

Harry was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean Conflict.

Harry worked in maintenance his entire life in various business retiring at the First United Methodist Church.

Harry was a member of First United Methodist Church, enjoyed tinkering around in his garage, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Harry is survived by his wife: Nancy of Clinton; four sons: Harry (Roxann) Foley, Jr., of Shellsburg, Iowa, Tom (Pam) Foley of Clinton, Richard (Chris) Foley of Clinton, and Mike (Alice) Bos of Clinton; two daughters: Hope “Paula” (Randy) Kimmer of Clinton, and Zelma (Tony) Uptagraw of Baraboo, Wisconsin; 29 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandson; and his sister: Norma Shadle of Clinton.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter: Viola; 6 brothers, and one sister.

Memorials can be made to the family for a bench to be dedicated in his name.
