Carmon C. Thompsen, 87, of Clinton, formerly of Low Moor, died Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Alverno.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Friday, October 18, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church - Clinton. Burial will follow in the Glahn Cemetery, rural Goose Lake. Serving as pallbearers will be Russ Hebeler, John Thiel, Wade Thompsen, Wylie Pillers, Dan Reed and Norm Shepherd. Visitation will be from 9:30am to the service time Friday at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Carmon C. Thompsen was born on November 20, 1925 in Grand Mound, Iowa, the son of Justus and Laura (Paasch) Thompsen. He was a graduate of Lost Nation High School.

Carmon was a lab technician with DuPont for 38 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Carmon is survived by niece, Sherri Woods of Florida.

Carmon was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister.
