M. Lorraine Price, 84, of Sterling and formerly of Camanche, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at CGH in Sterling.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the Camanche Chapel. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Parker, Jesse Parker, Zane Woods, Randy Block, Weston Sisson and Chris Delimata.
Lorraine was born December 19, 1928 in Red Wing, MN, the daughter of Raymond and Iva (Blue) Hoag. She was a 1947 Calamus High School graduate. Lorraine was a homemaker.
Lorraine married Michael T. Woods in 1948 in DeWitt, Iowa; he passed away in 1960. She married William E. Price, Jr. November 23, 1964 in Morrison, Illinois; he passed away November 2, 1994.
Survivors include her children, Terri (Tony Amesquita) Lawrence of Sterling, IL; Jayne (Doug) Parker of Hastings, MN; John (Rhonda) Woods of Morrison, IL; grandchildren, Erica Lawrence, Sara Sisson, Maggie Block, Stacy Lawrence, Jesse Parker, Chris Parker, Michael Woods, Amber Woods and Zane Woods; sisters, Grace (Vern) Meyer of Rogers, AR; Lois (Bill) Stockhouse of Rogers, AR; Carol Kimm of Ladora, IA; Doris (Mick) Hunter of Ames, IA and brother, Jack (Betty) Hoag of Long Grove, IA.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kate Parker and her parents.
