Reynold A. Naeve age 97 of Andover, Iowa, died Wednesday July 10th, 2013 at Mercy North Medical Center. Private family services will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 13th at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be held at Andover Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Reynold was born on June 6, 1916 on the family farm in rural Clinton County, Iowa, the son of Henry C. and Josephine E. (Passig) Naeve. He married Malinda Schroeder on Dec. 7, 1940 in Clinton, she died in 2008. Reynold farmed his entire life on the family farm near Andover, still running the combine until age 96. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his German Shepherd dogs.

Reynold is survived by his four children, Glenn (Diane) Naeve of Andover, Robert (Janeen) Naeve of Andover, Linda Bousman of Clinton, and Raymond (Ronda) Naeve of Andover; six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Petersen of Clinton; and a sister-in-law, Isabelle Naeve of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, a beloved granddaughter, RaeAnn Naeve in 2002, and two brothers.
