Wade W. Wiese, 46 of Charlotte, Iowa, died Wednesday afternoon, July 3, 2013, in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, as the result of an accident while vacationing with his family.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, Iowa. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte, Iowa. The Reverend Anthony Dodgers will officiate. Burial and military rites will be at Center Grove Cemetery, rural Bryant, Iowa.

Wade William Wiese was born July 6, 1967, to Harry and Bonnie (Boyer) Wiese in Clinton, Iowa. He attended North East high school in Goose Lake. Wade served in the National Guard and later transferred to the Reserves, being one of the youngest in Iowa to attain the rank of Sergeant E5. He also served on the Charlotte Volunteer Fire Department. Wade grew up working on the family farm, and continued to live there with his dad and brother, doing as much as he could to help out, following a severe motorcycle accident in 1992.

Wade was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte. Wade was deeply devoted Christian, and was very committed to prayer. Wade was known for his cards and karaoke, and sense of humor. He loved helping his dad on the farm and spending time with his family. Wade was deeply loved by many people and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his parents, Harry Wiese, and Bonnie Wiese; a sister Dixie (Robert) Gardiner of North Liberty, Iowa, a brother Wes Wiese of Charlotte; aunts, uncles Lynn (Laurie) Wiese, Carlton (Glenda) Wiese, 5 nieces and nephews; 6 great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an infant brother, an uncle Roland Wiese, and an aunt Betty Peterson.
