Raymond C. Wagner, 81, of Camanche, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center- North Campus- Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Camanche Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Raymond Clayton Wagner was born on August 30, 1931 in Noraway, Missouri the son of William and Mabel Wagner. He married Joann Hugunin on July 5, 1950 in Camanche.
Raymond was employed with Clinton Corn/ ADM in maintenance until retiring in 2000. He was a former police officer in Camanche and also sold advertising for Newton Manufacturing.

Raymond served on the Camanche Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years, he enjoyed gardening, working on cars, traveling, and visiting relatives.

Raymond is survived by his wife: Joann of Camanche; one daughter: Kathy Haring of Clinton, two sons: Dan (Sue) Wagner of Fulton, IL, and Ross Wagner of Camanche, one granddaughter: Lisa Lewis of Clinton, one great granddaughter: Shay Lewis; his sister: Lena Trayfer of Helena, Montana, and his brother: Joseph Wagner of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and one brother.
