Thomas E. “Tom” Handy age 59 of Clinton passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at his home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May29, 2013 at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the visitation cremation rites will be accorded.

Tom was born in Clinton on September 2, 1953, the son of Raymond L. and Pearl H. (Greaves) Handy. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1972. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Tom was employed at Markman’s Peat in Fenton, Collis Company and at Ralston Purina. He was a former member of the Eagle’s Club. He enjoyed fishing, model cars, riding his bike and working with his brother at Modern Upholstery.

Tom is survived by his son, Tony (Jennifer Garner) Handy of Clinton; four grandsons, Christian, Isaac, Noah and Sciylas; a step-granddaughter, Schyler; two sisters, Janis (Steve) Bratthauer of Bryant and Mary (Patrick) Bouusselot of Morrison; a brother, Kenneth (Dixie) Handy of Clinton and many nieces and nephews.
