LANCASTER, Wis. — Lloyd T[heodore]. Weigandt, D.C., of Lancaster, WI passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Lancaster Care Center, Lancaster, WI.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday May 31st at Lancaster United Methodist Church. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, in Moline, IL. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd Dubuque, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on December 13, 1926 in Murdo, SD the son of Ludwig [Theodore] and Ella [Franciska] (Weber) Weigandt. In May of 1945 he served in the 78th Combat Engineers and 8th Calvary Regiment in Medical Corp as a Surgical Medical Technician. He was a member of American Legion and a 32nd Degree Mason.
He graduated from Clinton High School in 1944, attended Iowa State College, and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1948. He practiced in the Clinton, Iowa area retiring in January of 1990.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Weigandt of Granbury, TX, and Dottie Gilmore, of Clinton, IA; granddaughter, Jenny Gilmore of Portland, OR, and a very special friend Virgie Taylor, of Lancaster, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Juanita Vail Weigandt, and three sisters: Sylvia Cozzolino, Goldie Matthiesen, and Dorothy [Ella] Weigandt.

A heartfelt thank you to all those who made Lloyd’s life a joy. May God bless you all.
