Georgina M. Peterson, 65, of Clinton, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 surronded by her family at Mercy Living Center – South.

Georgina Mae Timper was born on August 29, 1947 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Skiland) Timper. She married Robert Peterson on September 12, 1964 in Mansfield, Missouri.

Georgina was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Georgina is survived by her husband: Robert of Clinton; two daughters: Kathy Jo (Randy) Miller of Ackley, Iowa, and Melissa (Phillip) Petersen of Clinton; one son: Robert Peterson of Clinton; 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; one brother: Ed (Cathy) Timper of Bettendorf, and one sister: Teresa Schofield of Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister.
