Suzanne Leigh Junge, 73, of Camanche, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Alverno.
Services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, April 28 2013 from 3-6 PM. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be. Brock Junge, Brad Lauritzen, Jake Beck, Mike Winkler, Mark Winkler and Brian Bopes.

Suzanne Leigh was born March 29, 1940 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Robert and Amy (Stafford) Leigh. She was a Clinton High School graduate and graduated from Beauty School in Dubuque. Suzanne married Edward Junge in Davenport, Iowa on June 26, 1961.

Suzanne was a member and taught Sunday school at Ascension Lutheran Church, in Goose Lake and also served on the church council. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling and being around people. She loved the outdoors especially the birds and flowers.
She was owned Suzanne’s Beauty Salon on Main Avenue and at the 10 Mile for 39 years.

Survivors include her husband Edward Junge of Camanche; daughter, Michelle (Robert Clepper) Petersen of Clinton; son Edward M. (Lori) Junge of Miles, IA; and grandchildren, Samantha, Hannah and Brock.
Memorials may be made to the. Chancy Lutheran Church, Clinton or Ascension Lutheran Church, Goose Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
