Raymond J. Fredericksen age 84 of Fulton passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Alverno Health Care Facility. In following Raymond’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Pape Funeral Home. Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. James Machen officiating. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.

Raymond was born in Clinton on April 17, 1928, the son of Raymond H. and Myrtle M. (Stringham) Fredericksen. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1945. Raymond was millwright with Local #2158, Bettendorf. He had worked as a construction site superintendent in many different locations, including Africa and California. He attended the Church of the Open Door and was a member of the Fulton Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and going out to eat, and spending time with his nephew Larry.

Raymond is survived by his daughter Michelle; his son, Randall; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Juanita Fredericksen of Fulton and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenneth and two sisters, Pauline Dithmart and Joan Hackett. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
