HANSEN, Edward Peter
Camanche - Edward Peter Hansen, 62, of Camanche, died this morning in Jane Lamb Hospital. The body is at the Snyder funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
St. Mary's parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Requiem 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary cemetery.
He was born Feb. 7, 1899 in Goose Lake, the son of Henry and Mary Hansen. He was married Jan. 27, 1925, to Clara Kershner in Clinton. He was a retired farmer and member of St. Mary's Church.
Survivors include his widow; three sons, Edward Jr. of Maquoketa, Gene of Davenport and David of Clinton; on daughter, Mrs. Diane Trimble of Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, Henry J. of Clinton; six sisters, Mrs. Julius Peterson of DeWitt, Mrs. Erna Jenson of Charlotte, Mrs. Henry Lamp of Goose Lake, Mrs. Robert Schumake and Mrs. Lyle Cottral of Clinton and Mrs. Peter Miller of Clear Lake and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, three sisters and one brother. (ca 1961)
