Lost Nation - A Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Union Presbyterian Church for Mrs. William E. (Viola) Scott, 61, of Lost Nation. She died Nov. 1, in a Phoenix, Ariz., hospital.
The Rev. Paul Skelley will officiate. There will be no visitation. The body will be cremated. Malamphy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Scott was born Sept. 19, 1924, in Welton, to August and Alice Schroeder Kunde. She married William E. Scott, in East Moline, in Sept. 1963. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, UPW and Guys and Dolls.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Patsy) Jones of Alberta, Canada; five grandchildren; two brothers, Donald of Preston, and Earl of Baldwin; and four sisters, Mrs. Dudley (Edna May) McDonald of Maquoketa, Mrs. Warren (Anna Belle) Haas of Elizabeth, Mrs. Lowell (Bonna Belle) Creger of Baldwin, and Mrs. Nerwin (Lula Belle) Koch of Cedar City, Utah.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
