Mrs. Schroeder of Goose Lake Dies

Goose Lake. Dec. 18 - (special)- Mrs. Charles Schroeder, 70, died at 1 a.m. Sunday in her home, one miles east of here.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the home, the Rev. A. G. Langholz of Preston officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove cemetery.

Augusta Husen was born Nov. 14, 1869, the daughter of the late Joseph and Dora Husen. She married Charles Schroeder Feb. 18, 1891, who preceded her in death two years ago.

Surviving are seven children, Joseph, Rudolph, Harry, Mrs. Hans Jurgensen, all of Goose Lake, Ernest and Carl of Clinton, and Mrs. Virtus Koch of Miles; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Meta Stamp of Manning.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Mrs. Amelia Kuhl of Manning.
