Mrs. Hannah Hinrichs, formerly of Clinton, died Sunday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Heusinkveld in Iowa City. She had celebrated her 106th birthday Jan. 10. Mrs. Hinrichs had lived with her daughter the last 15 years.

The body has been brought to the Bragonier-Fay chapel in Clinton where visitation will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Dr. M. E. Lesher of St. Paul's Lutheran church will conduct funeral services in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery.

Mrs. Hinrichs, the former Hannah Schroeder, was born Jan. 10, 1863 in Kiel, Germany, daughter of Frederick C. and Caroline Hagedorn Schroeder. She came to the United States and Clinton county 100 years ago. Her marriage to August Hinrichs took place Feb. 14, 1893. She was associated with her husband in the operation of the Hinrichs jewerly store at 310 S. 2nd St., 28 years. Her husband had built the building. He died March 3, 1917.

Mrs. Hinrichs is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Ruby) Heusinkveld of Iowa City; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
