CARSTEN J. HOENICKE

Funeral services for Carsten J. Hoenicke, 66, former Goose Lake area farmer, died at DeWitt Community Monday, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pape Funeral Home where friends may call today. Officiating the services will be Rev. Terrance Thiessen.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Christiansen, Ernest Schroeder, Mortz Jensen, Virtus Hass, Jerry Dirks and John Witt. Burial will be in Memorial Park cmetery.
Mr. Hoenicke was born in Germany on Sept. 22, 1901. He was the adopted son of *Hans and Bertha Jensen Hansen. He was married on Jan. 14, 1925 in Bryant to Lavina Theissen. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith.
Survivors are hsi wife; two brothers, Jens of Goose Lake, and Harold of Brandenton, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Johanna Petersen of Clinton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
