MRS. ALVIN B. HARKSEN

Mrs. Alvin B. Harksen, 78, died Sunday morning in the DeWitt Hospital where she had been a patient for the last 12 days.
funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theodore Hinck officiating.
Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Friends may call at the McGinnis Funeral Home after 7:30 p.m. today.
Sikie Marie Andresen was born Oct. 13, 1886, in Center Township, Clinton County, the daughter of Frederick and Hannah Andresen. She was married Oct. 15, 1913 to Alvin Harksen at Lyons. The couple farmed southeast of Low Moor for 33 years before retiring to DeWitt 17 years ago.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Arnold, of DeWitt; on brother, Henry Andresen of DeWitt; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was prcseded in death by her parents, two sisters and five brothers.
