MRS. IDA J. HARKSEN

Mrs. Ida J. Harksen, 94, died early today at Mercy Hospital, clinton.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Ascension Lutheran Church, Goose Lake. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in Preston.
Mrs. Harksen was born Oct. 17, 1880, at Goose Lake, the daughter of Peter and Lena Daw Kruse. She married Paul Harksen in 1902. He died in 1943. The couple had operated a hardware store in Goose Lake for many years.
Mrs. Harksen had lived at the Alverno in Clinton the past nine years. She was a member of Ascension Church.
Survivors include a son, Harold, of Hanover, Ill., one grandson and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and one brother.
