HENRY F. PETERSEN

Henry F. Petersen, 80, Route 1, Haris Mill Road, died in Jane Lamb hopsital late Saturday night. He had been a patient for one week. The body is at the Snell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Zion Lutheran Church, where the body will be taken at noon to remain until funeral time. Rev. Martin S. Bredow, pastor of the church will conduct the service. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Henry F. Petersen was born Dec. 6, 1875 on a farm near goose Lake, the son of Peter and Christine Mathies Petersen. On June 28, 1899 he maried Lena Harksen and they operated a store in Low Moor for five years. For 40 year they farmed eat of Low Moor and for the past 13 years have been on a farm on Harris Mill Road. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Mildred) Langhaim of Camanche; Mrs. Arthur (Berneta) Smith of Route 1, DeWitt, and Mrs. Jame (Marcella) Harris of Route 2, Clinton; three sons, Martin of Route 1, Delmar; Elmer of Route 3, DeWitt; and Arlo of Route 1, DeWitt; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother and two sisters.
