The Clinton Morning Age, Apr 1, 1894, p.4, col.3

The remains of the late B.E. Johnson, of Kansas City, reached the city at 1:50 this morning, and were escorted to the armory by a delegation from Hart. Div., which left a guard with the remains, it being relieved at stated intervals, until this afternoon, when the division will escort the remains to the cemetery, were they will be placed in a receiving vault, until a private vault can be constructed to place them in permanently. There will be no services, and the remains will be attended only by the immediate members of the family and Hart Division. All uniformed men are called to the armory at 2 today, in full uniform.

Geo. Kuhns of the Economic, is expected home this morning, called here by the arrival of the remains of his late brother-in-law, E.B Johnson.
