Theodora B. Christian, 91 of Clinton, died, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Alverno.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:30am to the service time at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Clinton. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is handling the arrangements.

Theo was born October 15, 1921 in Clinton, Iowa. She graduated from Clinton High School and attended Katherine Gibbs, Mount Saint Clare, Gulf Park College and graduated from William and Mary College. She married James L. Christian in 1947. Theo was a long-time volunteer with Mercy Hospital Auxiliary and an avid bridge player. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Daughters of the American Colonists (DAC) and a local chapter of PEO.

Theo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Winifred (Buddy) Geiger and two nephews. She is survived by two sisters, Sarah Krieger, Venice, Florida and Frances Jaeger, Muskego, Wisconsin; her children Clarke (Barbara) Christian, Clinton; Sarah (Steve) Wolodkiewicz, Plymouth, MI and Frances (Paul) Olender, Bloomingdale, IL; her grandchildren Samuel Dennis, Lydia Dennis and Ann Wolodkiewicz and several nephews.

Memorials can be made to the Prince of Peace Parish.
