Elizabeth “Betty” M. Frazier, 83, of Clinton, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton.
Visitation will be Friday, December 7, 2012 from 4 to 7 PM at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, Clinton. Burial will be in the Upper York Cemetery, Argo Fay, Illinois.
Betty was born March 21, 1929 in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of Harry and Gladys (Gale) Seeley. She was a 1947 graduate of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin High School. She married Robert Frazier April 18, 1952 in Oconomowoc. He died September 19, 2006.
She was employed as a cook with the Clinton Schools retiring in 1982.
Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church, she was Past Matron of the Clinton Chapter Order of Eastern #65, Past Queen Pyramid Temple #10, Daughters of the Nile and she was Past Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls. She was a Cub Scout den mother for many years and was one of the first women to receive the Silver Beaver Award and she loved her Thursday night bingo.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Sarah) Frazier of Clinton; Terry Frazier of Port Byron, IL and Chris (Sherri) Frazier of Clinton; daughter, Kathy (Dave) Richards of Goose Lake, IA; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Shirley) Seeley of Wisconsin and Donald (Ursula) Seeley of El Paso, TX; sisters-in-law, Mary (Howard) Bell of St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada and Peggy Seeley of Fortson, GA and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Michael, parents and two brothers.
The family requests that memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
