Monna M. Pebsworth, 84, of Morris, Illinois, formerly of Clinton, Iowa died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Morris Community Hospital – Morris, Illinois.

Funeral Services will be Noon, Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Clinton. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Glosser, Tony Walker, Todd Monaghan, Troy Frampton, Rex Pebsworth, and Keith Riggle, Honorary pallbearers John Frampton, Kenny Dalldorf, and Mark Walker. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00am to the service time at the funeral home.

Monna Marie Soenksen was born on April 22, 1927 in Calamus, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Alma (Jurgensen) Soenksen. She was married to Robert Collins (deceased) and Bill Walker. Monna married Lloyd Pebsworth on November 22, 1982 in Tyler, Texas; he recently died on August 11, 2011.

Monna was a1944 graduate of Lyons High School- Clinton.

Monna was an accounting clerk at the Clinton Water Works for 25 years before retiring.

Monna was a great friend to many. She enjoyed bird watching, working in the yard and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and their beloved springer spaniel, Casey.

Monna is survived by her four grandchildren: Robin Monaghan of Fulton, Illinois, Rikkel (Jeff) Glosser of Vincennes, Indiana, Renee (Anthony) Walker of Woodstock, Illinois, and Reba Collins of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; six great – grand children: Alec, Makenzie, Evan, Lexie, Breanne, and Addison; three step-daughters: Vicky (David) Debold of Oakton, Virginia, Terri Pebsworth of Taipei, Taiwan, and Paula (Keith Riggle) Pebsworth of New Braunfels, Texas; two step-sons: Rex (Rachel) Pebsworth of Grimes, Iowa, and Mark (Donna) Walker of Rush Valley, Utah; and four step-grand children.

Monna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Richard Collins, her brother, Henry G. Soenksen, two sisters, Hazel Soenksen and Allene Dalldorf, and a step- grandson, Anthony Pebsworth.

Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or Joliet Area Community Hospice.
