Frederick Reedy, 70, of Clinton, passed away on Monday, March 5th, at Mercy Medical Center - North Campus. Cremation rights have been accorded with a memorial service to occur on Wednesday, March 7th, at 6:00 p.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton). A visitation will take place 2 hours prior to the memorial service from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. A private burial will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Frederick was born January 8th, 1942, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Dean and Agustus (Ludwig)Reedy. Frederick was a 1960 graduate of Fulton, High School. He was a Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam war. He married Judy Martin on July 1st, 1994.
Frederick worked for Praxair, as a Sales Manager, for over 20 years.
Frederick was a member of the Moose Club, the Eagles Club and a member of the AMVETS. He loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. He loved to visit museums, was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed going on road trips with his wife, they enjoyed listening to honky-tonk music.

Frederick is survived by: two daughters - Mary (Phillip) Nylin of Clinton, Tamera (Ron) Meyermann of Clinton; two sons - Shaun Reedy of Wisconsin, Fred (Chris) Reedy of Fulton; one stepson - Brandon (Cindy) Martin of Alexis Ill.; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandsons; one sister- Kathy (Ed) Jess of Clinton; one special niece -Laurie (Scott) Wheelington of Camanche and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, his wife and one sister - Sandra Snow.
Memorials may be left to the Iowa City VA Health Care System.
