Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Lemke Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton for Ardon C. Warner, 88, of Clinton, who died Monday, July 14, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center, Clinton. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Charlotte. Pallbearers will be Greg Ladehoff, Leonard Warner, Russell Warner, Bill Henricksen, Scott Harksen and Art Ladehoff. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Cannon, Gil Bott, Steve Blazek, Reynold Harksen, Eugene Machael and Pete Matroni.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Lemke Funeral Home. A memorial fund had been established.
Ardon Charles Warner was born April 10, 1915 in Clinton to Charles A. and Anna B. Black Warner. He had worked for 24 years at Clinton Engineering and for 25 years at Machael Oil Co. During that time he had also worked for the Cannon Funeral Home for 20 years, Hanrahan Funeral Home, and Nelson Funeral Home of DeWitt.
Survivors include his forever friend for over fifty years, Mary Clare Hanrahan of Charlotte, 2 daughters, Carol Ann Bartheme of Alvin, Texas and Debbie Gray of San Bernadine, CA, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a sister.
