Clinton Herald Wednesday June 16, 1971 p 10 Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Dalton funeral home for Mrs. Myrtle Jones, 74, of 1811 Garfield, who died Tuesday at her home. Burial will be in Clinton Memmorial Park cemetery. The Rev. Philip Ryan of St. Irenaeus Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Jones, Clyde Fuller, John Leslie, Dave Dodge, James Dykes and Harold Jaeger. Visitation at the funeral home will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday. Mrs. Jones was born Nov. 11, 1897 in Fulton, the daughter of Charles and Isabelle Chase Clark. On April 13, 1912, she married Fred Jones in Clinton. He died Feb. 23, 1962. Surviving are eight sons, Chancy of Moline, Charles, Robert, James and Merlin, all of Clinton, THomas of Plano, Ill., John of Concord, Calif. and Joes of Ft. Monroe, Va.; five daughters, Mrs. Marion (Louise) Bumann, Mrs. Arthur (Isabelle) Perryman and Mrs. Raymond (Caroline) Rannfeldt, all of Clinton, Mrs. Vernon (Winifred) Houilihan of Kenner, La. and Mrs. Chester (Earlene) Adams of Dannville, Ind., 37 grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Clark of Camanche and a sister, Mrs. Isabele Jensen of Clinton. Preceding her in death were her husband, one brother and two daughters.
