Nancy Lou Dannatt, 62, of Clinton, died Sunday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home and Crematory from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Cremation rites will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Burial of the cremains will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche, on Friday.
She was born March 7, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Ernest W. and Dorothy L. DeGree Scharff. She married Richard C. Dannatt on Oct. 17, 1964, in Rock Island, Ill.
She was a cook at Country Kitchen, a baby-sitter in her home and was self-employed as a cleaning person.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Gregory DeCrane of Davenport; four daughters, Monica Mallory of Indianapolis, Ind., Christina Dannatt of Clinton, Charlene Dannatt of Clinton and Cindy Dannatt of Calif; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Scharff of Charlotte, Harry Scharff of Charlotte, and Milo Scharff of Clinton; and three sisters, Mrs. Harriet (Larry) Simmons of Goose Lake, Mrs. Karen (Darrell) Kensrud of Bloomington, Minn., and Mrs. Yvonne (Earl) Gradert of Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to the family.
