Jeramy K. Tucker, 29, of Camanche, died Sunday, January 1, 2012, at his home in Camanche.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Friday, January 6, 2012, at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike McGarry, Ryan Springer, Keylon Hackney, Drew Hackney, Troy Sachsenmaier, and Brady Sachsenmaier. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Bussa, Riley Sachsenmaier, and Zachary Sachsenmaier. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. In Jeramy's honor, please feel free to wear his favorite sport teams apparel to the visitation.

Jeramy Keith Tucker was born on June 25, 1982 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Theresa (Sachsenmaier) Tucker.

Jeramy was a 2001 graduate of Camanche High School where he enjoyed playing football & basketball.

Jeramy was currently employed with IPSCO in Camanche.

Jeramy was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his children He enjoyed competing in the MDA Basketball tournament every year in Camanche, and was an avid Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Jeramy is survived by his fiancé: Shelly Flynn of Camanche; one daughter: Alexandra Tucker of Clinton; two sons: Lukas & Jakob Tucker of Camanche; his father: Ronald Tucker of Clinton; his mother and step-father: Theresa & Jeff Hackney of Camanche; his maternal grandparents: Tim & Bev Sachsenmaier of Camanche; his sister: Aubrey (Eric) Schultz of Clinton; two half-sisters: Maddison & Bailey Tucker of Morrison; one step-sister: Courtney Villicana of San Diego, California; two step-brothers Keylon (Shea) Hackney of Carlsbad, California and Drew Hackney of Vista, California; step-paternal grandparents: Dean & Mary Hackney of Clinton and step-paternal grandparents: Doug & Sherry Martensen of Nokomis, Florida; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeramy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Rueben & LaVerne Tucker; an uncle Robert Sheldon; and step paternal great-grandparents: Tiny & Lindsey Hackney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the children’s future education fund.
