Joyce F. Weispfenning, 77, of Camanche, Iowa, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at Mercy Living Center North, Clinton. Services will be 11 am Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the service hour Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig assisted the family with arrangements. Joyce F. Eisenbeis was born April 16, 1934 in Fredonia, ND, the daughter of Reinhold and Hulda (Krueger) Eisenbeis. She married Clifford M. Weispfenning October 5, 1952 in Fredonia, ND; he died August 11, 1991. She had been employed at J.C. Penney, Stiles and the Garment Factory. She owned and operated the 6 Mile with her husband from 1976 to 1991 and was employed at Carlon for 10 years, retiring in 1999. Joyce was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton. She is survived by her son, Curtis D. (Kay) Weispfenning of Camanche; daughter, Sheila Hulshizer of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Jennifer Ross, Andrew Weispfenning, Aaron Weispfenning and Adrienne Robinson; great-grandchildren, Scott Ross, Kaia Ross, Barrett Weispfenning and Ella Weispfenning; and sisters, Shirley (Ardell) Wolf of Clinton, Mavis Weispfenning of Kulm, ND and Karen (Alan) Redell of Pasco, WA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
