Massillon, Iowa -
Wilma L. Crosson age 83 of Massillon, IA, died Wednesday June 22, 2011 at the Iowa Masonic Health Facility in Bettendorf, IA. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, June 27th at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be held Monday 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be held at Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Wilma was born on Sept. 19, 1927 in Pittsfield, IL, the daughter of Elmer Ray and Alice (Sigler) Atwood. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1945. She married Charles Crosson on Jan. 18, 1948 in Pittsfield, IL; he died in 1992. They owned and operated Crosson Flower and Gifts in Clinton from 1951-1967. She later worked as an administrator of Human Services at Nielsen Clearing House, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation. She was a vocalist for various ceremonies, including funerals, weddings, and receptions. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, music, golf, and needlework.

Wilma is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl (Gene) Young of Huntsville, MO, Linda Davis of Santa Fe, NM, and Dena (Don) Skinner of Wheatland, IA; three grandchildren, Matthew, Ericka, and Sarah; a great grandson, Alex; and a sister, Martha Thomas of Louisiana, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
