Judy Ann Bruckman, 64, Calamus, passed away Thursday morning, June 23, 2011 in the home of her daughter after a long illness.

Judy was born April 1, 1947 in DeWitt, Iowa. She was a graduate of DeWitt High School. Judy married Richard Bruckman July 24, 1965 in Faith Lutheran Church, Calamus. She was a homemaker much of her life and also worked at Ennis Business Forms, DeWitt. Richard preceded Judy in death October 29, 1995.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as well as golfing, fishing and gardening.

Surviving are her children, Brian Bruckman and his wife, Kelli, Solon, Iowa, Angi Knudtson and her husband, Scott, Wheatland, and Joe Bruckman and Michelle, Grand Mound; grandchildren, Jade, Ryan, Dillon and Matthew Bruckman, Brandan, Courtni, Cassi and Emily Knudtson, JeriAnna Bruckman and Falcon; longtime family friend, Mary Garlough, DeWitt.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Litty and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rhoda and Joe Bruckman.

Family and friends may visit at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 in the Funeral Home. The Rev. Ken Kline will officiate. Family interment will be at Davenport Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Jade Bruckman, Ryan Bruckman, Dillon Bruckman, Matthew Bruckman, Brandan Knudtson, Courtni Knudtson, Cassi Knudtson, Emily Knudtson, JeriAnna Bruckman and Falcon.
