Katherine Zugenbuhler Farr, 1893-1931 - was born in DesMoines, Iowa in 1893. She was the daughter of Charles Zugenbuhler and Flora G. Davis. of Clinton, Iowa. Katherine's first marriage was to Mahlon Elliott in 1913. She later married Donald Eugene Farr of Camanche in 1916. Katherine died May 18, 1931, in Independence, Iowa at the age of 38. She left behind five children. Irene(Elliott)Cullen; Iona Waddell Farr; Olive Lewis Farr, Inez Tyler Farr and Allen Eugene Farr, who gave her 103 grand-great-and great-great grandchildren. A commemoration service was held in her honor by her ten living grandchildren at Rose Hlll Cemetery and the First United Methodist Church in Camanche, Iowa on Mother's Day, May 8th, 2011.
