Dorothy H. (Mrs. Wilson) O'Donnell Reneau, 90, Calamus, died Wednesday afternoon, April 27, 2011 at Eagle Point Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.

Mrs. Reneau, the former Dorothy Helen White was born July 10, 1920 in Calamus, to John A. and Blanche E. (Hazen) White. She attended Calamus High School and received a LPN degree from Amarillo College. Dorothy married Gordon Frank "Oozy" O'Donnell in 1937 and later married Wilson Reneau. She worked as a nurse at various nursing homes and hospitals and was a dental assistant for Dr. F.F. Benson in DeWitt. Part of her life was spent in Oklahoma, Arizona and Texas. Her husband Wilson, preceded her in death December 28, 2003.

She enjoyed family time, gardening, travling and playing BINGO. She loved watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves and Westerns.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Dallas and Gloria O'Donnell, Colona, Illinois, Robert and Kathy O'Donnell, Mayer, Arizona, Steven and Gloria O'Donnell and Tim and Mary O'Donnell, Clinton; grandchildren, Shawn, Lisa, Darren, Tim, Jarrod, Amy, Cara, Lance, Roberta, Chris and Jake O'Donnell; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Preceding Dorothy in death in addition to her husband, Wilson, were her parents and three brothers.

The family will receive friends at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2001 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Calamus.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
