Clinton, Iowa - June E. Eberle age 86 of Clinton, died Tuesday April 5, 2011 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Friday Noon until the service hour at the church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

June was born on June 3, 1924 in Clinton, the daughter of Earl and Frieda (Passick) St. Clair. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. She married Gerald Eberle on April 14, 1945 in Clinton; he passed away in 1982. June was a homemaker and had worked at Swift and Company as a lab technician. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Clinton YWCA. She enjoyed watching sporting events.

June is survived by her two daughters, Sherri (Larry) Klasi of Davenport and Deb (Don) Huff of Onalaska, WI; three sons, Michael (Paula) Eberle of Des Moines, IA, Steve (Leah) Eberle of Ocala, FL, and Terry (Susan) Eberle of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Eric, Joe, Zach, Jenny, Kate, Jordan, and Drew; and four great grandchildren, Jack, Keylee, Kiera, and Sadie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother – Edward, and two sisters – Ruth and Marilyn.
