A double funeral for Dr. Sylvia I. Cozzolino, 54, 415 S. 5th St., and her mother, Mrs. Ella F. Weigandt, 78, 556 7th Ave. S., who were killed Friday afternoon in a car-truck collision about three miles north of Clinton on U.S. 67, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Clarence Matthias officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline, Ill. Friends may call at the Snell-Smith Funeral Home beginning at noon Sunday.

Dr. Cozzolino had used her maiden name, Dr. Sylvia I. Weigandt, in her practice.

Dr. Cozzolino was born June 1, 1919, in Murdo, S.D. the daughter of Ludwig and Ella Weber Weigandt. She married Leo J. Cozzolino in Clinton on June 25, 1960.

She attended Palmer School of Chiropractic, Davenport, and graduated in 1950.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Weigandt was born Nov. 4, 1904, in Dennison and later moved to Murdo where she married Ludwig Weigandt on June 21, 1917. The family moved to Clinton in 1941.

Dr. Cozzolino is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Lester (Goldie) Matthieson, and one brother, Dr. Lloyd T. Weigandt, both of Clinton.

Mrs. Weigandt is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lester (Goldie) Matthieson, and one son, Dr. Lloyd T. Weigandt, both of Clinton, one brother, Orville Weber, and one sister, Mrs. Irene Weigandt, both of Murdo. She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters.
