The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Clinton Church of Christ for George F. ROSST, 68, of 526 8th Ave. S., who died Friday in Jane Lamb Health Center.
The Rev. Glenn HULL will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today in Schmitz Funeral Home, where a Rose Croix service will be recited at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Mr. ROSST was born May 20, 1920, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Fred and Violet ROBINS ROSST. He married Marrion ANDRESEN, Nov. 12, 1944, in Clinton. She died in September of 1983. He later married Alma Rallie HYNES, Nov. 24, 1984, in Clinton. He was employed as a setup pressman for the Collis Company, until his retirement. He was a veteran of service in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. ROSST was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ; was a member and past master of the Emmulation Lodge No. 255, Clinton; Clinton Scottish Rite Bodies; Kaaba Shrine, Davenport; and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 705, Clinton. He was a former member of the Oriental Band of Clinton.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. David (Andrea) GRESWELL, of Slaton, Texas; a son, Warren of Yardley, Pa; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nick I. (Maybelle) SHERRON and Vera Jean ROSST, both of Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was preceeded in death by a sister.
