Mrs. Henry G. (Marian E.) PETERSEN, 77, of 1219 N. 4th St., died Sunday in Mercy Hospital.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Snell-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Henry of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be George ROSST, Jeffrey GISS, Irwin GISS, Arnold PETERSEN, Erich SCHALLGREN and Keith PETERSEN.

Mrs. Petersen was born Sept. 30, 1897, in Sac City, the daughter of John and Mattie McKINLEY MARSHALL. She married Henry G. PETERSEN, June 23, 1920, in Clinton. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and recently retired as treasurer of the Clinton County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Wayne of Des Plaines, Ill.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter.
