Jennie Marie Mulneaux, 90, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center.

Funeral services are Friday, October 15, 2010, at 10:30am at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Sioux City, Iowa with Father Paul Hodge officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8pm at Lemke Funeral Home – North Chapel.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa.

Jennie was born April 24, 1920, in Winner, South Dakota, to Wolf and Sadie (Stevens) Headid. She married Cecil Mulneaux on September 24, 1942, in Dakota City, Nebraska.

Jennie and her husband operated the Hotel Denison for over 25 years in Denison, Iowa. She was a waitress at Green Gables in Sioux City for many years. She also worked for Fridays, Country Kitchen, Burger King and 3 Brothers restaurant in Clinton. Since 2000, she owned and operated the North End Dairy Treat with her son, Bill.

Jennie is survived by her son, Bill Molneaux, of Clinton; 1 brother, Roy Headid, Sioux City, Iowa; 2 granddaughters, Lori Nichols, Clinton; Ephony Horton, Clinton; 5 great grandchildren, Samantha, Maria, Avery, Kyah, Alicia and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
