Clinton Herald, Monday 8 February 1999, p. 7. Miriam Holleran Walsh, 84, of Indianapolis, died Saturday at St. Vincent Hospital. The funeral will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Luke Catholic Church, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today in Leppert & Hensley Mortuary, Indianapolis. A graveside service and burial will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. She was born June 22, 1914, in Clinton, to Frank and May McDonnell Holleran. She married Edmund C. Walsh, Sept. 1, 1937. She was a graduate of Ferry Hall Academy, Lake Forest, Ill., and Smith College, North Hampton, Mass. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Judith W. Houley; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother, Brent Holler; and a sister, Jeanette Miltner. Death date: Feb. 6, 1999.
