(November 17, 1942 - September 21, 2010)

Patricia L. Strodtman age 67 of Dewitt, died Tuesday Sept. 21, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, Sept. 25th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dewitt, Fr. Paul Connelly officiating. Visitation will be held Friday 3 – 7 pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, where a 7:00 pm prayer vigil will be conducted, and Saturday 9:30 am until the service hour at the church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Dewitt. Christine Nelson of Dewitt and the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton are assisting the family. Casket bearers will be Joshua, Justin, and Ted Witt, Randy Strodtman, Jeff and Joey Kilburg.
Pat was born on Nov. 17, 1942 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Richard and Leona (Behrens) Witt. She graduated from North Scott High School in 1961. She married John Strodtman on July 29, 1967 in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Davenport. Pat was a homemaker and had worked for DuTrac Community Credit Union in Eldridge as a teller for 10 years, retiring in 2009. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Clinton County Horseman’s Club. She enjoyed bowling, horseback riding, and was very active with the Clinton County Democratic Party.

Pat is survived by her husband, John of Dewitt; a daughter, Kelly (Tim) Moore of Dewitt; a son, Timothy (Cat) Strodtman of Dewitt; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Andrea, Amanda, Brandon, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Makaila; two brothers, Richard (Margaret) Witt of Oelwein, IA and Rick (Stephanie) Witt of Donahue, IA; two sisters, Rosemary Wiese of Winterset, IA and Nancy (Ernie) Henricks of Washington, IL; and several nieces & nephews.
